Why won't my Ping Pong soundtrack just get here already?!!!!???!!!! What's the hold up? Is it coming by Pigeon mail? Is the pigeon having to stop every 20 feet to catch its breath? Geez, did they send it to me via a chain smoking pigeon? Heads will roll!!! (Pigeon heads)

I did it!!! All by myself!!! I used to have trouble with Alcohol...it was tricky but now I can do it spot on by myself! I used to use it almost every day and there would be problems with writing each day. It is tricky after all, init? Anyhow, I realized that I can now spell Alcohol with absolutely no problem. Yeah!!! YEAH!!

Every once in a while I like to flip through to CMT and see what sort of hilarity is on. As Good As I Was...sung by Toby Kieth was on and it's basically a video with a bar fight. Now I dislike country music...but I loves me a good bar fight. So...get the music video...it's impressive.

There was a Mastercard commercial on right now about free gas for life...it has to be the absolute best commercial I've seen in recent memory. It was hittin' the right spots with the music and imagery. I'm gonna find it for ya'll...and more info as well.

And we're off!!!! Another exciting 22 days of spectacular racing across France. This is the race that year after year I look forward to the most. The last few years have been dominated by Lance Armstrong and have created umpteen American racing fans obsessed with their man in Yellow. No mistaking it, he is a man in Yellow with all the races he's won. This year will be his last and it will be by far the most important. As a sport evolves the competitors naturally get stronger and faster, training methods change, and strategy is fine tuned. Armstrong and his team were the first to evolve and were met with success. Other teams have floundered for several years and I believe that they have finally caught up. If you thought that Lance was unstoppable this might be the year you are proven wrong. There's no doubt that he has a mental edge and quite possibly still has a physical edge but the other teams are now organized and powerful forces. To see my point look no further than this morning when David Zabriskie (#29) of CSC won the Individual time trial by 2.02 seconds over Armstrong. David was unseen previously due to a car accident in 2003 and has recovered enough in two years to return...with Force! So, an exciting Tour awaits us all, enjoy the excitement. Standings Yellow: David Zabriskie Green: David Zabriskie (worn by Armstrong) White: Fabian Cancellara Polka-Dot: none Explanation of each Jersey: Yellow: Overall leader in time. Green: Points leader with points such as sprint portions and placement at the end of a stage. White: Best young rider in points (must be 25 and younger). Polka-Dot: Best climber (based upon points on climbs).

I just finished watching Ping Pong again...you know that any movie that I'd watch rather than sleep (especially after I haven't slept in a couple days) is worth it. I'm tempted to throw some expletives in except that I don't swear so I will have to improve my vocabulary while at the same time try not to sound like a prude. Damn prudes.

IMDB link. Just finished watching the movie, I am impressed (kudos to Kevin for pointing it out to me). I expected a movie almost exclusively about Ping Pong. Just lots and lots of action shots and lots of game footage. I wanted to see people play, I wanted to learn. I wanted to show the guys at work this movie (we play a lot of Table Tennis at work). I really couldn't have been further from the truth. Ping Pong is about two friends in their teens learning about how much they're truly capable of. Both go through a phase of self esteem issues as well as a rebound. The two friends are Peco (the king of the world) and Smile (too nice). Smile lets folks win, Peco hates to loose, they battle from time to time but they don't drive the story. A cast of supporting characters such as competitors and coaches realize the true potential of each and force them into molds that they don't belong in. Over the course of the movie each is broken down and forced to rebuild. Each supporting character is also given enough of a backstory and personality to validate their role in the film. This movie is thought provoking and entertaining. It's definetly a must see if you're in the mood for a drama. I also want to mention that the soundtrack for Ping Pong is excellent, there are some absolutely amazing songs that are going straight to my favorites list as well as my top 100 list.

It had to happen. Tushar has run out of really good movies to watch in North America. It had to happen sooner or later. So, I've branched out to really good Japanese films. On the way here is the Ping Pong soundtrack (fantabulous), Casshern, Waterboys (by the makers of Shall we Dansu and Swing Girls), and Appleseed. The movies are rather expensive so I won't be getting many, just the good ones...and only from time to time. Ok, now to write up a complete review of Ping Pong.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! This is the first year in years and years that I'm not involved in the UW Canada Day celebration...this is also the first time in weeks that I well have a good sleep. Sound good? Enjoy your day and night. We'll see if I manage to get to watch fireworks tonight or stay in and code.

We're past 500,000 hits...my hit counter is setup not to log individual page hits but unique visitors within a certain amount of time...the fair way. What's new? Let's just say that I'm working on an overhaul. I want to put the programming back into web development and not have to deal with html at all. As such I've made a framework that just let's me write pure code with a bunch of layout containers and it'll output the info. Afterwards I'll stylize it. Beware as the newest version of the site will require JS and the latest browser available from each major vendor. Sound good? Excellent.

A rabbit ran in front of the car today near Westmount. Now seriously...this is the location. Was I sad...perhaps...but then...Darwin, now there's more food for the other rabbits...food for the crows...yada yada...is it better or worse? I suspect that there's no change.
