US F1 Grand Prix just completed with Schumacher winning (awesome!!!), Barrichello, and Monteiro filling out the top 3. All cars running Michelin cars withdrew from the race because of safety concerns so only 6 cars were left to race. Faaaantastic! The fans of course were booing and I know exactly what they feel like. The teams that didn't run have lost serious credibility as has the sport.

It seems that I may have some bad memory to deal with. Will run some scans on it soon...I reverted to 1 gig and ran tests on it and everything is solid. I will reinstall the other gig to see if that was the issue and then will run tests on it.

Got a new keyboard...Saitek Gaming keyboard...it glows blue. Will go well with my new Razer mouse!

Just a quick guide for those that don't know the know. 480i (525i) - 480 visible scanlines interlaced...NTSC. 576i (625i) - 576 visible scanlines interlaced...PAL. 480p (525p) - 480 visible scanlines. 576p (625p) - 576 visible scanlines. Interlaced pretty much means that only half the lines are updated each update. HD is 720p or 1080i. Anything else is not HD. When you are buying an HD TV you need to know what it's native resolution is. Native means what it has internally in its chip that will be pumped out to your screen. Many TVs say they support HD but internally they don't do HD and simply resample the output when it's actually pumped out.

Well, what can I say? I just played a couple hours of Half Life 2 on the new box and things are ticking right along. Course, I need a new video card (only an X700 in this baby, will probably go to the X850 at the end of July). Oh yeah, what did I name this box? Diamonds...as in Diamonds are Forever. Definetly can thank Greg for helping out with the specs for this box.

What better way to break in a new machine than to watch '[url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0187078/]Gone in 60 Seconds[/url]' Director's Cut. Is the Director's Cut worth buying? Definetly. The additional scenes add to the dynamic within the group. The relationship between the brothers is more developed with Kip shown to not fully understand his predicament until quite late in the film. There's a significant number of other additions such as a longer police station sequence, a few extra seconds of exchange with Castlebeck..and much more. I won't spoil it for ya'll.
